Moniepoint CEO Tosin Eniolorunda Named to TIME100 Next 2026
Moniepoint co-founder and Group CEO Tosin Eniolorunda has been included in TIME100 Next 2026, with the fintech company saying the recognition reflects his work in expanding access to financial services in Nigeria.

Moniepoint co-founder and Group Chief Executive Officer Tosin Eniolorunda has been included in TIME magazine's TIME100 Next 2026 selection of emerging leaders.
Moniepoint announced the recognition in a statement on Monday, linking Eniolorunda's inclusion to his role in developing financial infrastructure and widening access to financial services in Nigeria.
According to the company, Eniolorunda is the only African represented among the business, technology and artificial intelligence leaders on this year's list.
Moniepoint was established in 2015 and reached unicorn status in 2024. The company says its services now reach more than 20 million businesses and individuals, while its agency banking network operates across Nigeria's 774 local government areas.
Tony Elumelu, Chairman of Heirs Holdings and founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, prepared Eniolorunda's citation for the recognition. Elumelu was himself included in TIME100 in 2020.
Responding to the recognition, Eniolorunda credited Moniepoint's workforce and the businesses and individuals using the company's services. He also said the honour strengthened the company's commitment to serving its customers.
The recognition follows other recent TIME listings connected to Moniepoint. On September 22, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Felix Ike was included in TIME's first Executives of the Year list for Tech and Data. Moniepoint was also selected for TIME's 100 Most Influential Companies list in 2025.
TIME introduced the TIME100 Next list in 2019 to highlight emerging figures across fields including business, technology, politics, science, sport and culture.
Other names on the 2026 list include actor Joey King, NBA player Tyrese Maxey and tennis player Alexandra Eala. Kenyan Food4Education founder Wawira Njiru is also among the African honourees.
TIME is scheduled to hold an event for the 2026 honourees in New York on October 29.
